YESH! 90 inked pages in 31 days! It’s not shaded yet -_-;; but i’m going to drop it by the bosses and let them check the sequence, and resize and flatten pages for colour work and pick it back up in March so i can do my own work for a change. -_-;;
[The above work is why i haven’t posted much in the way of drawings recently…]
The first book for this series is hopefully being released online or in book format in the next few months under the name “Origami Moon” by Raven Books. It’s in full colour, with script by Michael-Shaun Conaway, art by me, and colourwork by my friend Chamonkee.
anyway- I had a great time at Cardiff at the weekend, but was absolutely shattered the whole of monday after i got home, and was trying to get everything finished before the end of Feb. The Cardiff comic expo was a new one for me, I went with Nikki Stu and Will Kirkby and we stayed at the home of my wonderful Welsh-minion who looked after us all brilliantly the whole weekend.
The cardiff con was a really nice mix of film, dr who, american comics, star wars and anime and manga, as well as a good sprinkling of pro and small press artists as well.
read here for nikki’s account of the con
We’re going to be banding up in another FAILBOAT venture to get a sketchbook made up for Japan EXPO in July- which i got confirmation for last week, and I’ll be at Kitacon in April.
Other than that- March means the start of a whole month for me to get Mephistos book 4 drawn as well! Yeeeey!
I also got a lovely review of Mephistos from the lovely namida1511 [DA] which really brightened up my day after having a really grumpy monday.
